We recently bought a toyota Hi Ace commuter for my son who is Thai national and its being licensed on yellow plates so he can hire out at the local resorts

He needs a commercial license to drive it and we were told he could apply for one on the 1st of february in Krabi province, he applied today 1/feb and was told he cannot do his driving test until April 

Does anyone know of a licensing centre where he can do his driving test sooner, does not matter what province, do not want the minivan sitting in our driveway for 3 months not being used or making him a living

Any help with information about this would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried Phang Nga? I know for standard bike and car licences they are far quieter than Phuket.

Was told to go to krabi as it was quicker there , He is now heading over to Surattana as was told by Krabi office it may be quicker service there, waiting to hear back from him by phone
