Reconciliation Preparation Committees lays out plan to enact reforms

 

BANGKOK, 2 February 2017 (NNT) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha disclosed that the meeting of the committee for national administration under the framework of national reform, national strategy, and reconciliation created understanding, mutual recognition, and established the concept of reform. 

He stresses that the committee was set up to solve problems related to reform and reconciliation. He also said that the attendees and government officials were pleased that they were allowed to express their opinions. 

The meeting has come up with the prioritization of the reform of 27 urgent agendas divided into four groups including the public sector mechanism, human resource development, future basic economic tools and the restructuring of infrastructure. 

The government will set up a subcommittee that will prioritize in four fields for reformation, including the subcommittee on national reform blueprint, the subcommittee on ministerial coordination, the subcommittee on awareness and participation, and the subcommittee on monitoring and assessment.

Allowed ?  Why is the expression of one's opinions a privilege and not a right ?   That may be something to ponder while setting up all these frameworks, blue prints and sub committees. 

NNT have really excelled this time !!!

 

In all the years that I have marvelled at the tripe offered up by them,  I have to say that I've never seen anything as obfuscatory as this effort. 

 

But, then again, I may be a bit harsh on them - they may actually be quoting Prayut verbatim. 

They do love their committees, and sub-committees, but I must say this is the first time I recall seeing a "preparation" committee mentioned.
