Company Stamp to Collect Work Permit

Featured Replies

I have a new WP to collect from the Labour Department in Din Daeng. This will be my third WP.  I am using a different firm of lawyers and for the first time they have said I need to bring the company stamp with me to collect the WP. Is this now the usual procedure?

Your work permit is a personal document, not a company document. There should be no need for the company stamp to collect your work permit.

Take it anyway though. You don't want to get a refusal for something so small.

I just called the Labour Department and they said the stamp was required to stamp some additional documents. Doesn't make any sense.

Possible that when you submitted the documents for your WP the company didn't stamp where required. May have just signed instead.

Could be the labour office are doing you a favour.

Don't over think it.

My employer doesn't like the company stamp too far from her eyes so this is a logistical problem.

Let him come with you as he didn't stamp them in the first place.

Collected WP. No request for stamp.
