Drivers licence renewal

My licence expires 08/03/17.

If i go the day after the expiry date do i have to sit the whole testing system again or will it be a simple eye and colour test and watch a movie.

You will not have to sit the entire test again (at least in Pattaya) but it will help if you tell us where you are going for the test and your topic can then be moved to the correct regional forum for local input as rules do sometimes differ.

Thanks Rimmer, I will be going to pattaya.

I went to day to check what paperwork I need, the guy looked at what I had. Turns out I have everything except immigration paper which I will get in the next week or so. I think for memory the document from imms is good for 30 days.

He also said to be there by 9am, so I will try to be there 0830.

When I get my Residence Certificate from imms do I need to make another copy or will the original surfice for car and bike licence.

You normally need one original and one copy for car and bike - as you need two copies of all the passport stuff, front and back copies of each current license.
