Hull Multi Entry Non 'o'

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Not sure on this as im reading conflicting info.

Does Hull still issue the multi entry non 'o' visas does anybody know?

I found a thread on here from Oct which states that they cant and you must now apply direct from London. However if you look at the Hull consulate website the latest info on there from last Sept states you can still apply by email to Hull (and collect after if successful), they just forward it on to London for approval. Or at least that's how i read it.

Can anyone confirm?

Many thanks

Hi Vintage,

Been using hull for years for this type of visa and now its has stopped, everything goes via the thai consulate in london

You need to apply in person or by post at the London Embassy. Hull can no longer issue ME visas.

As far as I know nov (last year) brother went to hull for non o they check your paperwork and send it to London. Once London give them the green light they will issue non o in passport.  If I remember corectly he went on a Monday and was called on Thursday to go back to hull on Friday to pick it up.

Important Information about Non-Immigrant Visas

16 September 2016

With the introduction of new rules for Non-Immigrant visas, The Royal Thai Consul UK is now providing direct assistance for all categories of Non-Immigrant visa applications.

Under the new legislation, when applying for any category of Non-Immigrant visa, the Royal Thai Consul asks applicants to email all documentation for checking to the Hull Consulate, ([email protected]) who will then forward the application to the London Embassy for approval to issue.

The applicant is then informed of the decision by the London Embassy and, where approved, is invited to visit the Hull Consulate where the visa can be issued promptly. This application checking service is not available at the London Embassy, where persons posting their application to London will only learn if they will be granted multiple or single entry or even only a tourist visa on receiving their passport again.

Don't know where this information comes from.

We had MEs from Hull end of last year (2016) Hull don't do postal, just drop in visits.

See Hulls website.

In and out in under 30 minutes.

Looks like we crept in just before the announcement. But still doable with the email bit.

That is now out of date. I called the Hull office towards the end of last year and they confirmed that ME applications need to be submitted direct to the London Embassy.
