Imagine the educational and social changes that will happen once the solar and battery technology gives everyone in every remote village 1GB a second access to all the world's information. So a good argument it's one of the most important inventions changing peoples lives around the world for the last 60 or so years. Jet engine is another good one. Thais call Honda Wave type bikes, motorcycles, most Brits bikers refer to them still as Moped's. Thais call motorcycles, Big Bikes, Brits bikers call em motorcycles or motorbikes.
