"...these people??????"

Ever been in Texas? Mississippi? Arkansas? or for that matter, anyplace in the U.S.? The National Rifle Association there would approve highly of such manly weddings, and argue endlessly that.... if the victim only had a weapon.... he could have protected himself.

Only difference,  is that had "these people" been "those people" they would have had an assault rifle and maybe mowed down a few more folks.

I have NEVER run across glass houses bigger and more fragile than on a TV string.

Couldn't see any gun or shooting in the vid

Did you have your sound on? Sure sounded like gunfire to me. That and the photo of the groom holding two rifles makes me wonder what they're in denial up.

Fortunately never been to any of these places. If that's how they behave then I would reckon funerals outnumber weddings.

Mostly Western Europeans would find guns at a wedding or funeral offensive. It is common practice in southern Europe, South Asia, South America, and parts of USA. Google "celebratory gunfire".

Nice drunk style dance moves.

Guns and booze...what could possibly go wrong.

Now if they taught the laws of gravity in schools here, people might understand that what goes up, must come down.

Fire bullets in the air, and they aren't going to keep going up forever.

Fair enough...if you're a recently-arrived extraterrestrial and extremely selective about venues for gun goonery.

Just when you thought you have heard every stupid

thing....THIS....unbelievable

That damned elusive Irish sniper to blame again.. expect a warrant soon for the arrest of Mr. Rick O'Shea !!

Obviously the expression "shotgun wedding" means different things to different people.

Yes, it's fortunate that people in other countries never do anything stupid.

Your post might have some relevance to the OP if this were say, FrenchVisa or BritVisa, not ThaVisa.

'Police are investigating the incident but have so far been met with denials from the bride and groom and their families.'

What a surprise. If the groom doesn't realise by now that what goes up must eventually come down, he and his now missus are in for more than a few surprises of their own.

This is not a shotgun wedding.
DEFINITION OF SHOTGUN WEDDING:  When the parents find out some guy has been screwing their daughter.   They bring him to the church, with a shotgun behind the head, and either he marries their their daughter, or he gets killed...

What people? This type of thing happens in the US fairly regularly, but usually New Year's Eve. People shoot into the air celebrating, not realizing the bullet could hit someone.

What a great business opportunity : BLANKS.

hmm, shooting  in the air like that makes me think they may have been hunting black bears.  :whistling:

I expect it is regarded as very lucky to be hit by a falling bullet. Did the poor soul gasp out a few lottery numbers before passing on?

I rest my case.

Well now, must be us people. Back in West by God Virginia, we celebrate anything with gunfire--the happier you are, the more you fire. I prefer to use the M134; can cut a 10-inch diameter poplar in half in less than 3 seconds. They claim it will fire 6,000 rounds a minute; maybe a little less. Heck, we usually don't have to bury more than two or three people each time.

Turn the volume on. Sure sounds like gun shots to me.

I hope nobody thinks that a bullet falling from the sky will kill you do they?

People were shooting guns at my wedding too; absolutely nuts!
