oldsailor35 Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 My nephew on holiday from UK has just been on a day trip to Koh Tao with Lompraya. On arrival back at Maenam jetty, there was an announcement on the boat. "There is a collection box where tips are collected for the crew" As my nephew arrived at the tip box, he found that apart from some 500 bht and 100 bht notes he only had one 20 bht which he was about to put in the box, however the person in attendance promptly told him "Minimum Bht 50" so he said that they would get nothing. On the way back he observed the crew sitting in a group passing a bottle among themselves, taking a swig and passing it on, a couple of the boys seemed to getting a little inebriated.
