If they are well looked after they should last for years, if not beware,I used to sell Dolphin cleaners in the uk and you should see the abuse these things are put through and people expected to have the warranties honored.,especially at the time when robot wars was on the TV!!! I used dolphin pool cleaner; it is the best choices for those with unusually shaped pools and larger pools that can be reached with the cord, especially those that don’t want to have to rely on water pressure to propel the pool cleaner.
