March 13, 20179 yr Popular Post I had over 10 tourist visas in the past(from 3x entry,METV ,2xentry and SETV) but in current passport only 3. 2xSETV from Savannakhet +1 METV from home. Prepared fly out ticket and bank statement from thai bank; believe that need to show minimum of 20k. People who didn't have it where denied.
March 13, 20179 yr So you are saying you got yours OK, and also did you get any hassle coming in from immigration as they can see your track record vs passport, and where did you come in ?

March 13, 20179 yr Does anyone know, whether a bank statement from a European bank, Switzerland in my case, would also be ok? And what, if I just show them 20k Baht in cash. Would that work too?

This is the route you need to use provided you have enough money in the a/c.
March 13, 20179 yr I was there last week and loads of people were having problems. I went for a Non-O multiple entry and it was fine.

Similar six weeks ago: Ticket out 89 days from date of application. Bank statement showing at least 20k Baht or equivalent. Thai or home country bank acceptable, but NOTE: cash will be rejected, no matter how much; there was a man with 50k Baht in line before me who was rejected. Copy of paid-up rental or a hotel reservation for at least a day or two after planned arrival. Possibly (if you look marginal in the eyes of consular official) itinerary for duration of stay. This can of course be entirely fictitious.
March 14, 20179 yr Is Vientiane also asking for bank statements? About to get my 3rd in a row there. Thanks.

March 14, 20179 yr Popular Post Is Vientiane also asking for bank statements? About to get my 3rd in a row there. Thanks.Unless you have a remark gotten by the consulate, no proof of fund required. Just got today my setv. After 2 setv and 1 metv on current passport. I provided voluntarily a bank statement from a Thai bank in hope to avoid a warning remark. I still believe, people can get countless visas as long they do their paperwork. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
