PM10 readings recorded in three provinces

LAMPANG: -- The level of potentially dangerous airborne particle matter in Lampang, Mae Hong Son and Tak provinces rose beyond the safe limit on Thursday morning, according to the Pollution Control Department. 

 

As of 8am, PM10 levels at Mae Mo district’s Tambon Ban Dong (Lampang) and Muang district’s Tambon Phra Baht (Lampang) were 196 and 125 micrograms per cubic metre respectively. 

 

In Tambon Chong Kham in Mae Hong Son’s Muang district, the reading was 151mcg, and 141mcg at Tambon Mae Pa of Tak’s Mae Sot district.

 

As of 9am, Mae Mo reported 198mcgs, Muang Lampang 131mcg, Muang Mae Hong Son 145mcg and Mae Sot 149mcg.

 

A PM10 level exceeding 120mcg can affect people’s health.
