BANGKOK: -- Immigration spokesman Natthathorn Phrosunthorn has refuted media suggestions that a suspect in the killing of the elder brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is hiding out in Thailand.

Kim Jong-nam,45, was murdered at the airport in Kuala Lumpur in February sparking an international manhunt and the souring of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and the reclusive communist state, Sanook reported.

Natthathorn said that there was no evidence that suspect Chong Nam Un had entered Thailand.

He said that his department had received no request from the Malaysian authorities over the matter.

Though he did concede that it was possible that Chong had transited in Thailand he said that his department had no record of actual entry into the kingdom.

Sounds to me like the computers and databases are working just fine! Nobody know nothing for sure!

The photos, the computers, all the endless forms and CCTV cams.... and they got nothin'.

Headline says "no truth". To cops credit he said "no evidence" (found yet). As we know there is large gap between truth and evidence in justice systems

Especially in Thailand. I have seen cases here that closely resembled a swiss cheese, that resulted in  truly amazing decisions.

Someone also should highlight to POTUS the difference between fact, fiction, truth and evidence.

Yeah, right! Or the pesky hotels just don´t follow the rules and report where he stay! Maybe he managed to bribe them, in some peculiar way.

Hotels in Malaysia don't register their guests. Only my wife's ID was enough for them.

If he used a forged foreign or Thai passport, there would be no evidence.  Would be rather brazen not return to the safety of North Korea after doing something so horrible.

Oh dear! The comment was based on hiding in Thailand, out of a TM30 post.
Plaese smell the coffée and wake up. Hotels in Malaysia had nothing to do with it!
