Justice Minister Suwapan Tanyuvardhana has instructed the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to consult with related agencies to cancel the junta order, issued under Article 44, declaring the Pathum Thani-based Dhammakaya Temple as a controlled area.

The matter will be discussed with deputy prime minister Wisanu Kreu-ngam next week, Suwapan said on Friday.

Suwapan also said the officers hunting for fugitive former abbot Phra Dhammachayo have not found any information to suggest that the monk has left the country and said that the search was focused mainly in Thailand.

This bird has flown the coup and covered his tracks well in the process. Seems he must have known the good times would someday come to an end and had a exit plan. Must be close to fool proof well BIB proof anyways he had years to draw it up. Trip to plastic surgeon safe houses caches of money along the way contacts willing to help for money etc. etc. nothing left to chance.
