Pathum Thani chief monk asked to appoint an outsider the abbot for Wat Dhammakaya

 

 

The director of National Office of Buddhism Pol Lt-Col Pongporn Pramsaneh has asked the chief monk of Pathum Thani to appoint an abbot for Wat Dhammakaya and that he should be some outside the temple.

 

In accordance with the Sangha regulation, the tambon chief monks and deputy chief monks will nominate at least three candidates from abbots in the tambon to the district chief monk to be submitted to the provincial chief monk for consideration.
