Military hand over nine suspects associated with Ko Tee to police

The military on Friday handed over nine suspects arrested for alleged illegal association with Ko Tee on March 18 after the seizure of a cache of war weapons to Pol Gen Sirvara Rangsipromnakul, the deputy national police chief, at the Crime Suppression Division.

The nine suspects are Thirachai Udonrvichien, a 54-year old native of Samut Prakan; Prathuang On-lamoon, 57 old resident of Ang Thong; Mrs Palida Ruangsuwan, 55-year old resident of Pathum Thani; Wanchaichana Krutchaiyant, 55-year old resident of Pathum Thani; Mrs Em-on Watkaew, 45-year old resident of Pathum Thani; Udomchai Nopsawat, 60 year old resident of Ayutthaya; Thanachote Wongchanchompoo, 56-year old Khon Kaen resident; Suriyasak Chatpitakkul, 49-year old Surin resident and Boonsong Kotepradit, 54-year old Saraburi resident.

Four other suspects are still at large. They are Ko Tee or Wutthipong Kotethammakul, 48; Ms Boontem Raksapainai, 54-year old resident of Udon Thani; Somchit Sabootda, 64-year old Loei resident; and Wanlop Ratrung, 45-year old Chiang Rai resident.

All were charged with illegal association to incite unrest and possession of illegal firearms.
