The Department of Special Investigation has accepted as a special case the recent seizure of war weapons from the company of Wutthipong Kotethammakul or Ko Tee, a red-shirt core leader of Pathum Thani.

DSI director-general Pol Col Paisit Wongmuang on Friday assigned Pol Lt-Col Yutthana Praedum to take charge of investigating the case.

Nine suspects have, so far, been arrested. They were kept in military custody since they were arrested and handed over to the police at the Crime Suppression Division on Friday.

After the DSI accepted the case, the suspects were transferred to the DSI for detention and interrogation.

The DSI are to handle the case. The same department that is parked outside the Dhammakaya temple.

Now what would happen if next week the dsi says it's found red shirt weapons inside the temple? Who is going to believe the dsi now.

It should have been investigated by another agency.
