I have been trying, without success, to learn how to purchase Vanguard ETFs while living in Thailand.

 

I will be retiring soon to Nong Khai. I want to purchase The Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI).

 

I have two questions.

 

[1] Has anyone on this Forum done this?

 

[2] Can you please give me the name of a bank or a company that will allow me to purchase Vanguard while in Thailand?

Without knowing where you are presently how are we expected to give you information ?

 

 Buying securities is dependent upon the rules of where you are when purchasing them, the currency you are going to buy them in, and your citizenship

 

I have purchased PAVanguard Long Term tax free income funds but I have a US brokerage account so for me it is just a matter of a few mouse clicks
