Extending multiple O based on marriage after 90 days

Featured Replies

Hi, I know this has been answered before but I can't seem to find it, after 90 days is up I'm pretty sure I can extend for another 90 days if my wife and I attend immigration is this correct? if so what do I need?

Thanks.

You have to leave the country to get a new 90 day entry.

You can apply for a 60 day extension of the 90 days to visit your a wife at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

Then after the 60 day extension you would have to leave an re-enter the country to get a new 90 day entry.

alright got it, what doe I need to take to extend for 60 days?

Your wife will need to be with you when you apply for the 60 day extension.

You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card.

You will need proof of residence unless living where your wife's house book is for.

Proof of residence can be a rental agreement for where you are  living. Most offices will want a copy of the owners ID card and house book registry attached to it.
