ubonjoe
They will link your history of using your old passport with the new one the first time you use it for entry to the country. They be able to see all your entries, departures and etc using the old one. The only history that is lost is visas issued by an embassy or consulate.
Broken Record
As Joe Say's, happened to me years ago when trying to enter on a new passport, had all the details of my old passport on the computer.
