"Police said they were one kilometer away from their workplace when they decided to pull over for a nap due to exhaustion, and fell into a deep sleep at the gas station before dying."

They should have kept on going, for a few minutes more and they would still be here,

people do the strangest things, must have fell asleep with the engine running. RIP

This is such a simple fix people don't have to die this way, you can sleep with the car running, just make sure you have the ac on circulate mode and don't open the windows..

Says they died from Carbon Monoxide leaking from the exhaust of their vehicle into the passenger cab. Keeping the ac on circulate mode and closing the windows would surely just compound the build up of CO.

They can just send the check to this couch Sherlock as I nailed it first off.

1 km from work?  I guess they figured it miss an hour more of work or add to their hours or some car romance?

I wonder how the CO got in?  Holes in firewall? Some sort of manifold leak?or just bad location for circulation.   I have pulled over and needed the heat on for a rest.  Makes one think twice.
