bluesofa
Is there an updated list of area dialling codes somewhere? I've tried googling, but can only find the codes that have been use for decades. There are some new area codes now, but it seems impossible to find any information about them.
RichCor
Wikipedia: Telephone numbers in Thailand Geographic area codes This page was last modified on 4 April 2017 Lists many of the geographic area codes in use, but doesn't contain your 033 code :-( Suggest doing a Google Search specific to the dialing prefix code you're interested in, and see what pages pop up that acutally contain that code as part of their listings: Area Code Thailand +6633 Area Code Thailand 033 https://phonenum.info/en/phone/6633 ...is one of the google search results, a operator/region search database that returns: +66: Thailand +6633: Chachoengsao/Chon Buri/Rayong Interesting, even though the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission controls the Thailand-based telco operators they don't seem to have this data listed on their site. bluesofa
Thanks for the replies. I did a search for Thailand area code 33, but for me it didn't yield any results. I can see now from the replies posted where it covers, thanks. As said, the NBTC doesn't even list it yet. Unfortunately, http://www.thaifocus.com/cityinfo.htm doesn't include it in that list. PGSan
So it seems that 033 covers exactly the same region as 038. Reasonably predictable if they were running out of usable 038 numbers. BTW — Unfortunately, this url no longer works at all: http://www.thaifocus.com/cityinfo.htm

There is an updated list on Wikipedia but only in Thai language and there it says: 033 appears in Chachoengsao and Chonburi province and most numbers belong to 3BB. 038 appears in Chacheongsao, Chonburi and Rayong. Google/Chrome translation works quite well on the Thai article: https://th.wikipedia.org/wiki/หมายเลขโทรศัพท์ในประเทศไทย

I don't know why the thread has been resurrected after all this time, either. I did find out where the code covered a few weeks after posting. Don't call this thread old. Just recently a 13 year old thread was revived. Topic starter not been on Thaivisa since four years I wouldn't have joined in if I didn't knew that bluesofa is active.
