PATTAYA: -- A German man was found dead at his home in Pattaya on Wednesday afternoon.

Mr Peter Werner died after suffering a heart attack.

Mr Werner had been in poor health after being involved in a hit and run accident in Khao Noi two months ago which resulted in him suffering a broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Mr Werner was a well known member of the expat community and ran a bakery in the Naklua area.

A German no problem, the culprit will never be punished

Rip Peter :(

Is it really necessary to post his passport?

Rip Peter.

Always so sad after a death particularly with a hit and run.

RIP.

RIP PETER.

Yes it is a usual item in Thailand to show pictures of victems or also atackers.

I was sitting in the Jolly Crow bar yesterday, in the same group of shop houses, when his friend came into the bar saying he thought his friend was dead, so I went in and found him lying on a mattress just inside the front door, very, very dead, he was actually quite stiff, so had been dead for a while.

RIP old fella.

Peter's was one of the very first German bakeries I visited in Pattaya. I'm saddened by his passing. While appreciate the notification, I don't quite know why it's news. RIP Peter, wish we had met.

RIP Peter

RIP , never knew the bakery , but German bakers are among the best .
