Greetings all, I was thinking of going to Savvanakhet tomorrow to get the 60 day tourist visa. It's my first one in my new passport. Will they ask for proof of a flight and finds? I thought they were more relaxed at that one. Has anyone got that visa recently? What did they ask for?

Yes they will ask, there are some topics already running about this if you want to search

There have been recent reports of them wanting tickets out of the country and financial proof.

If you applied tomorrow you will not get your passport back with the visa in it until Monday.

Vientiane still don't ask for flight or 20K in the bank.
