As I suspected, Vista is garbage with a silver lining.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but this is certainly the most controversial OS that Microsoft has ever released. I've played around with Vista in a virtual machine, and did not see any new features that were useful to me personally, so it's going to be a long time before I change to it, if at all.
