QATAR flying direct from Doha to Chiang Mai Yet?

Featured Replies

does anyone have any updates on this flight path.. Heard they were gonna start last year, but heard now its not till this fall..

im extremely interested in these flights

I think the flight starts at the end of October.

Is it going to be direct or a 45 min stop off in Swampy before setting off to CM?  This is what I heard.

I'm also very interested flying out of Doha direct to CM.

The plan was to offer a direct(nonstop) flight from Doha to Chiang Mai.

Yeah so I heard but it then died a death and there is no info on their web page + speaking with their ticket office staff.

Have they given up on the idea?

The original-plan was for a stopover each-way in Rangoon,  but poor sales meant that they are delaying the introduction by a year until this October, don't know whether there will still be the unwanted stopover ?

Meanwhile people who had booked CNX-DOH-onward are currently being routed (at unchanged cost) via BKK (on Bangkok Airways), I'm on that route tomorrow, to LHR.

Doha direct would be good
