When changing  from a tourist visa to a Non-O inside Thailand is the start date of the approved Non O from the date of application for the change or are the 90 days added on to the expiry date of the existing tourist visa?

The 90 day entry starts on the date you do the application for the visa. They cancel out the 60 day entry when they stamp the 90 day entry.
