BANGKOK, 22 May 2017 (NNT) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has asked politicians and dissenters not to use rhetoric to undermine the government’s achievements.

Gen Prayut has reiterated his satisfaction with the government’s 3-year performance, and has asserted that cabinet ministers will not be become complacent and will continue to work hard for the country and its people. He said the administration’s achievements have been recognized and lauded by many sides.

Despite these achievements, Gen Prayut said there remain those who attempt to discredit and tarnish the government’s reputation using political rhetoric and turning people against the government.

The prime minister then asked the general public to listen with their heads so that they don’t fall victim to the rhetoric of politicians.

'Do not think for yourselves. Just believe.'

Megalomania!

He should heed his own advice!

Is the PMs (and his cabinets) rhetoric and rhetorical styles also included in this statement I wonder?

An someone actually provide an achievement so I can consider undermining it.

Which brings up the rhetorical question - how many sides does a piece of string have?

Let me translate what he said - don't criticise me OR......

Unfortunately the PM does not realize that he is now a politician and his rhetoric is the exact same as every other politician.

WEll Mr Prayut, how can you blame other in your cabinet for the same thing that you are doing??

Oh i forgot: you wont let anyone do critic about your politic and your followers!!!!!

Thats the way into a new democracy leaded by a junta: wow!

I assume this doesn't apply to him, or other members of the amart, junta, military?

Doesn't the Constitution-du-jour guarantee free speech?

How very "Soviet" of him.

Other words if you say something be careful if we dont like it Acheivments  Oh the subs who could forget those world class subs you bought

In other words....SHUT UP, if not you will be taken away

for A.A.  attitude adjustment.

Did someone suggest using that word, RHETORIC, or does he know the actual meaning.........

Silly little General.

Having set himself low standards on taking the role, he has constantly failed to maintain them.

Quite a speech leaves me speechless. Numb with dumbness.

Just shut your trap, get some basic high school education and you may understand a little bit about life.

Until then.. remember how you became PM and know that you are not wanted

Any and all politicians, naturally

I listen with my ears and think with my head, so what I hear from Mr. P is I think he doesn't understand what he is saying.

Can Prayut be asked not to use bombastic language to oversell the government's achievements?

As it is, it's become quid pro quo between the public and the government.

Crack the whip!!!

You are not a human. You cannot voice an opinion.
Your not allowed to even have a functioning brain.

Lobotomy! That would fix everyone plus the problems.

Let's all be brain dead!

Maybe we are already? lol
