The Superintendent of the PupPra (พบพระ) district in Tak province, Pol Col Panya Sukaim (ปัญญา สุขเอม), led a combined force of police, border police unit 346, special task force of the 17th Infantry Regiment, and volunteer district officials on an operation to destroy over 30 hectares of opium in the mountains of Kiriraj (คีรีราษฎร) subdistrict in the province. Several suspects living in the local area were apprehended, as well as 80 kilograms, and 2 firearms.
