Can members here please clarify:

1. Are 1-2-call sim cards solds outside Thailand, and if so where?

2. Is it possible to purchase them online and have them mailed from Thailand to an overseas address? can they be activated while overseas?.

The requirement to register SIMs may present some undue challenges? I'm not sure that a new SIM could be activated outside of Thailand.

 

There used to be many web-based companies which provided this service, often for a significant fee. Not sure how "legal" those might be now, especially given Sa Kaeo Click-Farm kerfuffle?

 

You need a Thai SIM to use in a foreign country? If so, international roaming would need to be enabled.

 

Or you want a SIM when you land in Thailand? There are shops in the airports.

 

Alternatively you could ask someone in Thailand to buy, register, add value, enable IR and post you the SIM.
