Passengers injured after bus flips in Prachin Buri
By The Nation

PRACHINBURI: -- A Rayong-Nakhon Ratchasima bus’s tyre burst and caused it to flip on to its side in Prachin Buri province early Monday, injuring some of the 40 passengers onboard, police said.

Police said the accident happened at about 2am on Kabin Buri-Nakhon Ratchasima Road in Ban Sathaen village in tambon Nadee of Prachin Buri’s Nadee district.

Police quoted the bus driver, Ritthi Kimmalern, 49, as saying that the front right tyre burst, causing it to flip and fall into a ditch in the middle of the road.

The bus left Rayong at 9pm on Sunday, heading to Nakhon Ratchasima province.

nothing else to add? like you panicked and overreacted causing the bus to flip over?

I would like to see a picture of that tire. I bet it wasn't a brand new one from a good brand.

Something falling on its side is not a flip.

No, it's a flop.

Maybe it somersaulted before landing.

The burst tire fled the scene.

"A Rayong-Nakhon Ratchasima bus’s tyre burst and caused it to flip..."

I still can't figure out how something like this can happen. Especially after reading how the government has "promised" to implement newer safety regulations and inspections of motor vehicles. Must have been an invisible internal flaw. Since we all know how the operators of mass transportation always adhere to safety standards.
