webfact Posted July 10, 2017 Share Posted July 10, 2017 Fire destroys monk supply shop in Samut Prakan By The Nation BANGKOK: -- A large offering shop for monks in Samut Prakan province was destroyed by fire early Monday morning, police said. Police said the blaze broke out at about 5am at the shop, located in front of Wat Traisamakkhi in tambon Bang Mueang Mai in Samut Prakan’s Muang district. Six fire crews took about half an hour to put out the blaze after the entire shop as engulfed. The owner, Thanet Kaewket, 50, said he was sleeping in a house next to the shop when he heard someone shouting about a fire. He said he emerged from the house to find his shop burning. Police suspect the fire was caused by short circuit.
