July 13, 20179 yr My ex-wife (Thai) purchased land in Hua Hin in 2006. Sadly, she decided to end our 15-yr marriage, and we are dividing up "community property" assets, which includes the land. I need a valuation for the land, but I am in California (US). She wants to use the 2006 purchase price, which I believe would underestimate the current value. If anyone can provide a recommendation for a reputable business that can perform the valuation, please let me know. Much gratitude during this painful time. Edited July 13, 20179 yr by JohnSky
July 13, 20179 yr I realise you are currently in California and also may not be fluent in Thai but this web page of land values may help if you have a Thai friend (probably not your wife!!) that can assist you. http://property.treasury.go.th/pvmwebsite/ Can't help with any recommendation, I'm afraid.
July 13, 20179 yr Also you might want to look at ddproperty.com to see if there any comps for sale in your neighborhood. I realize that there is only houses for sale and Thai's tend to overprice but its worth a look anyway http://www.ddproperty.com/en/property-for-sale?region_code=TH77&area_code[]=TH770701&district_code=TH7707&market=residential&property_type_code[]=BUNG&property_type=B Edited July 13, 20179 yr by beachproperty
July 17, 20179 yr Author Thanks for the replies. I have the appropriate documentation from government for the property. Location and size is in the document. There is a dirt road and water, but no electricity. It is not far from Soi 102 and very close to the hills facing the water.

Soi 102 has become a pretty desirable area lately with the proximity to Blu-Port, Mahasamutr, True Arena and so on...(asking) prices have increased a great deal there, so definitely best to do some homework!
