Pol Col Pong-anant Klaiklueng, deputy commander of Metropolitan Police Division 9, said on Wednesday that the two men were arrested at a rented room on Soi Thian Thalay 14 in Bangkok’s Bang Khun Thian district. They were identified as Synt Min Thun, 35 and Daeng, 35. Police seized a motorcycle, a knife, two smart phones, and two TV sets from the suspects. They are accused of using the knife to rob a Myanmar couple at their rented room in Bangkok’s Bang Bon district. Police said the two admitted that they have been preying on their countrymen. They believed their victims would not file a complaint with police for fear that they would be repatriated.
