August 10, 20178 yr I think it depends where she's flying from, some check-in staff are stricter than others. I thought the allowance was 30 kg now, that certainly what we've got shortly. From the US I think it's 23 kg, but you can have two of those. theoldgit
August 12, 20178 yr Hold-luggage on TG International-flights is 30kgs on most routes, according to http://www.thaiairways.com/en_TH/plan_my_trip/travel_information/Baggage.page? but 2-bags of 23kgs each, for flights to/from USA/Canada unless it's some sort of special heavily-discounted fare ? ... and carry-on is "one baggage at maximum length 56 cm (22 inches), width 45 cm (18 inches), thickness 25 cm (10 inches). These dimensions include wheels, handles, and side pockets. Total weight of the carry-on baggage must not exceed seven kg (15 lb).Passengers are required to place the baggage in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of them." ... Plus "Handbag/wallet/purse with the maximum length 37.5 cm (15 inches), width 25 cm (10 inches), depth 12.5 cm (5 inches), or the total of three dimensions do not exceed 75 cm (30 inches) with the total weight not exceeding 1.5kgs(3.3lb). Notebooks, or portable personal computers are also applied with this condition."
