webfact Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Thailand and Myanmar mark 20th anniversary of first Friendship bridge By Thai PBS MAE SOT: -- Thailand and Myanmar yesterday (Aug 15) held a joint ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of the Thai-Myanmar Friendship bridge in Mae Sot district of Tak province. The 420 metres long and 13 metres wide bridge over the Moei river links Thailand’s Mae Sot town with Myanmar’s Myawaddy town. The ceremony was taken part both the deputy governor of Tak Mr Sutha Saivanich and Myawaddy governor Lui Go U.
