BLACKJACK2
I am going to apply for a uk visit visa for my wife, would it be a problem that my wage slips are in Norwegian or will they need to be translated. Can someone recommend a translation service for our Thai documents, thanks.
rasg
With the payslips I would play it safe and get them translated. I used somebody called Supapan Lane. [email protected] I emailed a scan of a birth certificate and the translation came back a few days later.

From Visitor: supporting documents guide Quote If you submit a document that is not in English or Welsh, it must be accompanied by a full translation that can be independently verified by the Home Office. Each translated document must contain: confirmation from the translator that it is an accurate translation of the original document the date of the translation the translator's full name and signature the translator's contact details. However, whilst pay slips may be useful, and are on the list of suggested documents, you do not really need them. Bank statements, yours and/or hers, which show you have sufficient funds available to cover her expenses are better.
