It is possible to apply undefinetely a non O single entry every 90 days... Especially in Thai Embassy / Consulate in Laos without being bothered ?

 

Instead of TR visa..

Why not get a Multi Entry Non Imm o Visa?

There are people that are getting single entry non-o visas back to back. Most get a 60 day extension to visit their child for each 90 entry so they don't need to go back for another visa for almost 5 months.

You can get a multiple entry non-o visa in Penang if you can show 400k baht in a bank or proof of income.

I read they issue it after get a single O entry from them, but I got it from the Vientiane Embassy, can I get directly the multiple non O at Penang or need to apply first for a single O entry at Penang. And need a 100k thai bank book right ?

I am on multiple Non O visa since 10 years. just preparing a new application here in the USA:

 

application form (download from Internet)

passport copy of my son in Thailand

my passport

2 photos

birthday certificate of my son copy

I also send them a copy of my present bank account status here in the US, although not needed.

flight details

a money order for the visa fee.

I send everything to the Thai consulate.

 

after a couple of days I can pick up the visa (they used to mail it, but now you have to go yourself)

 

never had a problem. just remember you have to go and do a quick border crossing every 3 months to get another 90 days

I am not sure what they will do if you have one from another location.

You might want to check to see if you can still get one from where you have been applying before. If you have been getting one from a honorary consulates they can no longer issue them since August of last year.

You can only apply for them at the embassy in DC or one of the official consulates in NY, Chicago or Los Angeles.  You can still apply for them by mail to those locations.

All Thai consulates and the embassy in the States or just where you are applying?

You would send it to the embassy in Washington DC. If you str living in the southeast part of the states.

You can mail it to them and they will send it back. You send a prepaid express mail envelope with the application.
