Man shot dead by federal agents in Minneapolis

ICE agents shot 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti in the chest during chaotic Minneapolis protests! The explosive incident was caught on video, showing violent clashes between agents and protesters. Voices rang out as gunfire cracked the tense standoff, leaving residents shocked and outraged.

Alex Pretti, a kind-hearted ICU nurse, tragically became the latest victim in a boiling conflict with ICE. Pretti's death sent shockwaves through the community. Friends and colleagues mourned him as a compassionate hero devoted to helping critically ill veterans. Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz slammed ICE for their aggressive actions, declaring the officers “violent” and demanding they leave the state immediately.

Shockingly, a US law enforcement officer reportedly had a finger bitten off by a protester during the mayhem. US Homeland Security claims tempers flared as protesters “obstructed and assaulted” officers on the scene. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin fired off on social media, declaring, “He will lose his finger,” amidst the uproar.

What’s next for Minneapolis? The aftermath has left residents questioning future protests and law enforcement strategies. National and local authorities are on high alert as tensions threaten to escalate even further.

Key Takeaways

  • ICE agents shoot ICU nurse Alex Pretti amid Minneapolis chaos!

  • Law enforcement officer loses finger in violent protest clash!

  • Governor Walz demands ICE’s immediate exit from Minnesota!

They are not good neighbors, they are criminals. ICE has warrants for their arrest. ICE is only out in force, way too many needed just to serve warrants, as they need to protect themselves from the new criminals, interfering with their job.

Only takes 2 or 3 people to serve a warrant, but now need 10 or more for their own protection. Local law enforcement that you pay for, don't seem to want to, or should I say, not allowed to interfere.

As I don't know any police officer that would let a criminal walk the streets, so they are obviously told to stand down. That's nuts in itself.

I'm sure there is not only criminals? Minor offenses as well anything they can come up with to make sure their goals are met statistically promised for the voters

AI have some numbers, are they correct?

In 2025, the U.S. government shifted to an aggressive enforcement posture, resulting in over 600,000 total deportations. While official, disaggregated data specifically for "lawful" immigrants (such as green card holders) is difficult to isolate, it is estimated that at least 1.6 million people, many of whom previously had legal status or authorization, had those permissions revoked, putting them at risk of deportation.

Key details regarding 2025 immigration enforcement and the impact on lawful status:

Delegalization: The Trump administration stripped legal protections from over 1.6 million immigrants, including those on temporary visas or with humanitarian parole, in the first 11 months of 2025.

Total Deportations: DHS reported over 605,000 deportations by December 2025.

"Self-Deportation": In addition to formal removals, the administration claimed 1.9 million people "self-deported" during 2025.

Impact on Programs: Specific actions included ending certain parole programs, such as those for Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHNV) beneficiaries, which impacted approximately 500,000 people who had initially entered lawfully.

Targeting: While the administration has prioritized removing criminal offenders, reports indicate a significant rise in the deportation of individuals with no criminal convictions or only minor traffic offenses.

This is a ridiculous comment. Why don't you stop doing your 90 day reports and don't renew your visa here and see what happens.

Why don't people just let law enforcement do their job. They are arresting felons, murderers, child rapist, rapist, real hard core criminals. Why are they trying to protect people that live to harm them.

ICE are arresting US citizens, Native Americans because they are not white.

AI disagrees, though I don't doubt, others are being rounded up, if in the hood.

"we have warrant for Pedro (child rapist) and while there, Paco didn't show for his asylum hearing, and according to unpaid misdemeanor fines, lives at same address"

Bottom line, they are criminals. Don't know about y'all, but I don't want criminals around me & mine.

Priority is as it should be ...

Again barely readable , but if I understand you correctly, then yes difficult and challenging jobs require a certain kind of person to do them , Had this cancer of society been dealt with promptly and not been allowed to reach the stage that it has , then such robust action would not be necessary, Local law enforcement and the local administration are solely responsible for this,, That is why we have laws and why people need to enforce and obey them

What an ignorant statement. ICE will arrest anyone who are in the United States illegally and anyone who impedes them even if most of them happen to be not white.
