Trump Orders Fewer Childhood Vaccines, Splits MMR

President Donald Trump has signed an order that calls for fewer childhood vaccines and recommends changing how the mumps, measles and rubella vaccine is delivered, including splitting MMR doses.

Speaking in the Oval Office on Monday, Trump said that children received only a “small fraction” of the vaccines required today and argued that earlier generations were “much healthier”. He also claimed that autism rates now seen were not present in past decades, repeating a line his administration has promoted for years.

The Trump administration has long backed a link between MMR vaccines and autism that has been widely discredited. However, multiple studies have found no association between the two.

Federal authority limited to state requirements

The federal government does not have the power to put the new recommendations into effect. Requirements for vaccinations needed for school attendance are set by individual states.

Even so, Trump said the administration is “recognising gold standard childhood vaccine recommendations” covering only 11 core vaccinations aimed at protecting against the most serious and dangerous diseases.

What the order recommends

Under the order, the immunisations recommended for all children include vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella, as well as diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. It also covers polio and Haemophilus influenzae type B, alongside pneumococcal disease, human papillomavirus and varicella, or chickenpox.

The order also includes a recommendation to split the MMR shots, rather than giving them as a combined dose, according to the description of the order.

Trump says children would receive fewer jabs

Trump said the approach would reduce the number of vaccinations. He added that the change would involve receiving vaccines across a series of doctor visits.

“We’re reducing them,” he said, describing the plan as not only involving fewer vaccines, but also spreading them out into multiple appointments.

Trump himself publicly acknowledged the COVID booster in December 2021. At a Dallas event, he told the audience he had received the booster; the crowd booed, and Trump responded by defending vaccination.

Honest question, has Trump taken all his vaccines?

I think one sign of autism is you need to "rest your eyes" frequently when other people are talking. 😃

He call the MMR vaccine "lethal". A reporter called him out on it.

Trump signs order to limit childhood vaccines and split M...

The American Academy of Pediatrics calls the recommendation on measles, mumps and rubella shots "dangerous".

The president suggested the MMR vaccine could be "quite lethal" if given at once. He compared it to pouring a bottle of soda into a child's body.

When a reporter asked for evidence of the "lethal" claim, Trump said: "What I've heard is that there are some people that say it is that way."

Releasing separate vaccines now would require entirely new saline placebo-controlled clinical trials under new Trump administration policies

Great lets see independent transparent placebo controlled trials for all 'vaccines' and medication.

DUMBO DONNY STRIKES AGAIN........

"United States President Donald Trump has signed an executive order pushing for a rethink of school vaccine mandates and repeating calls for the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine to be separated into three individual shots.

Curbing vaccines has been a key priority for Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy jnr, who founded an anti-vaccine nonprofit and has long promoted a disproven link between immunisation and autism.

This despite years of scientific evidence that supports the safety of a combined MMR vaccine.

Public health experts have long advised that the combined shot offers children more protection faster and also decreases the logistical hurdles for parents who may struggle to make multiple appointments.

Yet during the Oval Office signing, Trump made a series of incendiary and unsupported statements, including: “Together, there could be a possibility they are quite lethal”.

Kennedy is accused of contributing significantly to the crisis by spreading anti-vaccine sentiment and fuelling fears of well-studied and proven immunisations.

Polling indicates that most Americans still support vaccination, and in recent months both Kennedy and Trump had backed off anti-vaccination rhetoric that could spell negative repercussions in November’s Midterm vote.

But today’s efforts show the issue remains a core component of their health policy agenda, as both men remain committed to the false notion that vaccines can cause autism.

Such a potential link has been debunked by years of research

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/trump-orders-school-vaccines-review-and-to-split-mmr-jab-into-three-shots/WYI2SNIU5FA2HCBDVFHNSKTLF4/

And to finish the nonsense from trump and kennedy, here is a priceless quote supposedly from a brainless MAGA………”I blame Biden. He shoulda done a better job explaining how trump’s policies were gonna screw people like me. That’s why I’m still MAGA”.

States are entirely within their legal rights under the U.S. Constitution to ignore federal vaccine guidance and enforce their own public health policies to protect their residents. A state can override federal advice, but if federal insurance rules or grants change, state taxpayers or local patients have to pick up the bill.

The Health Secretary uses the federal platform ("the bully pulpit") to shape public perception, physician practices, and consumer behavior, regardless of state-level policy. Come next election these clowns should be hitting the road.

A-greed. That's what pharma is all about, like all capitalists--best returns for your shareholders.

I'm a believer in vaccines. However, we did not follow the 6-month protocol for any of our children. First vax at three and finished the schedule by school start. In hindsight, I think even that might be a little bit early. Maybe the full schedule by age 10.

Interesting that Dr Whale Head is the longest "serving" Cabinet member.

'I'm a believer in vaccines'. Must ask why.

There is no evidence, anywhere, at any time, that shows vaxxes, any of them, are safe, effective or necessary.

Take a look at the stable genius cabinet……there’s a clue ehh??

Much more stable and actually hired on merit instead of DEI/Woke BS.

Notice no drag queens in the cabinet nor topless drag queen exhibitions on the White House lawn? As was common under the Biden administration.

I guess no one on their "team" will admit that a trans going topless in front of the white house is degrading the nobility of the place.

But they will yap endlessly about how Trump's decor is tacky.

Nice find.

It will be interesting (but sad), to watch the increase in Rubella Syndrome Hearing Loss in children, five years from now.
People rarely die from Measles, but quite common to have it affect hearing, often causing profound deafness in children. It's one of the leading causes of hearing loss in children.
Perhaps RFK Jr. will institute Prayer Groups or Crystal Healers to take the place of vaccines. After all, we saw how effective they were during the Pandemic.

I don't have time nor the medical expertise to debate it too much.

According to the gov website, US kids get twice as many vaccines as kids in some EU countries.
