Trump’s video depicting Obamas as apes sparks outrage

There is no low point for Trump’s debasement of the office of the Presidency.

When he goes low, it’s simply a pause before he goes lower still.

His supporters, foreign and domestic, jump to his defense, then follow him deeper into his sewer.

The President of the USA should not post this type of message. Whether in jest (doubtful) or not, it was not appropriate for the office holder. It was intentionally hurtful to too many people, especially people of color. Former President Obama and Michelle Obama should not have been insulted in this manner.

Now Trump admits he posted it, but says he didn't watch the whole thing, so didn't know about the ape images.

So, "some staffer" is Donald J Trump.

Good, decent Americans would not stoop so low. The office of president has been diminished further in this latest act and refusal to apologise.

He sent ICE in…for what? Trump is the guy who employed undocumented workers at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster into the year 2017.

Recall in the campaign, Trump accused legal Haitian migrants of “eating the dogs”.

Trump’s first battle with the legal system came in 1973, when he was sued for denying Blacks the chance to rent apartments in buildings with his family name on it.

To his core Trump is a racist. 100%. He is a disgrace to the US and an affront to all that is decent and good.

Trump once sued the comedian Bill Maher, because Maher joked that one of Trump's parents was a baboon.

Trump's racist post about the Obama's was no joke and no "troll of the lefties". It was left up for 12 hours. Trump understands America so little, he thought such a racist meme would resonate with a majority. It has not. THAT is heartening, but the fact that demented racist clown still sits in the Oval Office is an affront to the country and to humanity.
