I am looking for a decent hotel in Bangkok, for my family visit to BKK in July, preferably in Pratunum area ( as shopping is one of major consideration ). We'd like a double-bed room with wirelss internet connection, and hope not to spend more than 1,500 baht a nighton room-rent.

Anyone have any recommendations? Your help is much appreciated!

Could have helped you if you didn't stipulate a 'Wireless' connection.... only has a 'Wired' LAN connection.
