I'd give him 3/1 against making the century and reckon him to be around a 50/1 outsider for making it to 500 posts. My only reservation is that if he is a re-inventee, the odds could be way out. Yep, he's a gem, isn't he? I've been dogging his footsteps since he showed-up on TV. Normally, I wouldn't admit to such a thing but there's just something about this individual that really rubs me up the wrong way. A deeply unsavoury character, IMO. I used to believe that he was merely a troll; then one could either laugh at him or simply ignore him. But I have to report that he's actually legit. The following is an exchange of PMs with a poster who wishes to remain anonymous but is happy for me to pass on the info.

This guy is for real, I've met him, I didn't realise at first til I looked at his profile where the picture is bigger.

His name is ***** (1) and he owns a gun shop in Melbourne Australia.

He has also cropped up on other forums named after guns, and is known to a guy I used to know here.

When i met him he'd just had an accident falling down in his bath. Hurt himself as I remember,. said he gets dizzy spells.

There was also a story I heard second hand about him sending his GF's body home to her parents after the tsunami, and then the GF turned up alive. It was a case of so wanting to be involved he identified the wrong body.

He really is as wierd as they come in person, wierder than he has even shown on here.

Agreed, quiksilva. One of the aspects of TV-life I really don't relish is seeing how some BMs jump on another, usually after some poster with a high post-count does it first. This seems to make the hapless poster "fair-game" and it always reminds me of a school playground with some poor kid being chased by a howling mob. A bit "Lord of the Flies", if you like. Yep, sometimes a poster brings it upon themselves; they're either trolling or just bloody insensitive/stupid/crass etc. But I still find these exchanges a little off-putting. Quite often the mob make themselves look worse than the cause of it all. But WW? He seems to relish the attention, to ask for it.

I'd have to say he's a pretty interesting/worrying character and I've met a few over the years through work.
