May 1, 200818 yr Hmmm, don't think WW and Blizzard had much in common, other than a grade 2 spelling ability (although it seems Blizzard's errors were deliberate). WW appeared to originate from Oz, while the Bliz made lots of references to the US (Nancy Reagan, NFL football, etc). Also, the Bliz made it to 1641 posts before getting the big "B", while WW barely made 69.
May 1, 200818 yr links plrase... Now you are starting to spell like WW ! Hmmm, is it the "sauce" or is he (spiritually) communicating through you ? ...try posting in the dark with your laptop lighting the keyboard...sauce doesn't make it easier... Unfortunately - five minutes of butchery like this will set you back abot USD $300 in Cambodia.$20 for frag grenade. $60 for full clip in AK. $200+ for cow depending on size. If you feel the need to shoot up something like chickens - $2 a head. Turkeys about $10 per head. I'm not joking. can confirm that, I know someone who claims having done that...I doubt that this someone is WW as his command of English is even worse...
May 1, 200818 yr Ok, I'm ploughing a lonely furrow here as I still don't reckon he was a troll. But if he was, who sent me that PM claiming that they had met him once in Oz? Did he have a spare nik or just a mate who agreed to send a spurious PM? It all seems like too much effort for just 69 posts. If I'd gone to all that trouble to come-up with such a character, I'd be posting and starting threads left, right and centre, wouldn't you? Actually, I'll PM the chap who contacted me and get his reactions.

Could be Mickey. I once had 'Uma' invite me to a drink with she and soph on Samui. Turns out uma was a multiple nick person who knew through someone else knew that I wasn't on Samui at that time, 'she' also sent me a pm under another nick, 'wes turner', I think it was. Turned out he, as it was a he, he had at least 4 nicks that I knew of! Oh the internet, brings out the weirdoes!

Soph was actually friends with The gentleman Scamp at the time and agreed to help him with his troll characters, Uma and Wes Turner, by pretending to be involved in their adventures.

Yeah I can confirm that too, I shot an Uzi and an M60 at an indoor range just outside PP. Then they offered a chicken and even a goat as a target for an RPG they had at the back: I declined. I was quite happy to loose a few hundred rounds at a paper target (great fun) but can not understand why anyone would want to actually kill something.

Reminds me of a great book I read about a US Navy seal's recon activities in Vietnam. The book's title is "Whadaya Mean I Can't Kill 'Em". Edited May 2, 200818 yr by sibeymai

I was quite happy to loose a few hundred rounds at a paper target (great fun) but can not understand why anyone would want to actually kill something. The only problem with shooting an animal with an RPG ($150 USD a shot) is that the "grenade" requires quite a sturdy hit on the nose to detonate & the most likely result is a 2" wide hole in the cow with no bang unless the RPG hits something solid on the other side. I've wasted a few thousand dollars in that shooting range, been too chicken to fire an RPG though. Made me wet my pants laughing the first time I went there. Out come the beers, whiskey & tray of hand grenades at the same time. Imagine trying to get entertainment like that lisenced in Australia or England!
May 2, 200818 yr I like animals and I don't like hunting, but, I have to admit I can't get up much sympathy for a chicken. I wouldn't use a flame thrower on one, but I dare say that a quick burst from an automatic M16 wouldn't bother me too much.
May 2, 200818 yr Cats for targets, that would be great. No good selfish predaters, cats. Open season on cats. No problem with all other animals, vermin excepted.
May 3, 200818 yr Cats get rid of rats and keep lots of people company. Sicko serial killers like to kill them to work up to people.
May 3, 200818 yr I just got back from Ranong a while ago (yes another visa run) only to discover that Jockstar has given the W.W. the 'Bums Rush"....... Good On Yer Jock. I did not ban WW and i did not ask for his ban. BTW. ONLY admin can ban a member. MODS cannot do this.
May 4, 200818 yr I reckon they should use the street dogs for targets, gets them off the street too. an RPG to the ground below it would be fun to watch
May 22, 200818 yr Weekend Warrior gone? Did he leave a forwarding address? It's slim, but he may be back. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...=190199&hl= Only reasoning, the 23rd letter of the alphabet is 'W'
May 22, 200818 yr Could well be the Northern Hemisphere branch of the WW family. Must keep a look-out for this character.

Taoism: shit happens Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us? Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Any bets on his shelf life?
May 25, 200818 yr Have to say that I miss that little frisson of excitement when logging-in; what little gem might he have posted today? God, I really need to get out more...
May 26, 200818 yr I missed WW's banning. I think someone owes me a tenner. Is that 10 baht? 10 stang?
