Is it just my ISP here in Thailand or does everyones ThaiVisa response seem slow when posting or responding to topics or IMs.

Thanks for the fast response George. I have a duplicate post next to this one....can you delete it. After a minuite delay, I pressed the post button again when I should have been patient.

Or you could have pressed the "Preview Button" to see if your first post was posted. I do this if my posted post hangs too long and I am unsure that I really pressed the "Add Reply" button or not.

Just got an email notification dump of about 40 emails of posts... all from earlier this afternoon. All were of the instant notification variety.

Had a PM answered while on my end it I still had the PM as still being processed to send (spinning browser icon).

Have noticed at least a half dozen duplicated posts within the past few hours.

Hope things clear up.

It's 0552 in the morning here in Chiang Mai. Nice to see things back to normal.

I believe the database optimize will be ready before lunch time today. Our database is huge and it takes some time. Until then expect a bumpy ride with symptoms like SJ mentioned.

Compared to last evening, things are already running:

No further email notification dumps.

No further spinning browsers.

No further duplicate posts.

There are still some problems with duplicate posts, but I am sure it is just a question of time before it clears up again.

It will take a few hours more.

as I just received an additional dump of 33 email notifications at once....

It's the one rare occasion where the patient get to put there opinion across and the nutters get to go insane.

As of 9pm, still problem with reply function and duplicate posts..... FYI

sceadugenga, the world renowned computer whiz, just noticed that if you immediately open another page, go to TV and to the sub forum you posted in, the post is there while the original page winds endlessly on. Sorry about the lack of technical terms, sceadugengas scorn such trivialities.

Update finished at 20:30pm. System should now be normal, and a bit faster.
