    You would need to employ 4 Thai people in your company to get a work permit for yourself. Unless you are from the USA, you can only own 49% of the company, the remaining 51% must be in a Thai name.

    If something happens, you sell the car and bikes, that would take a while and you would get less than you paid for. Not sure if the hospital would like to wait for that and you have to be in a state to be able to sell them.

    Resign as a director is not a problem as it is a job. As shareholder, you own a part of the company. These shares need to be transferred / sold to someone else. This can be one or more of the current shareholders or a new person. See a lawyer about the shares part.
