  1. Are you so stupid? PrEP can be used by anyone over 16years
  2. Before you start commenting, learn what you are commenting about. Your statement is sooooooooooo wrong.
  3. How long do you need to be out of Thailand to get another 30 days? Friend coming from France, will be here for three and half months then back to France. Do they get 60 days on entry to Thailand? Says so on the Thai Gov Tourist website but I do not think it is updated. Will go visit Lao for one week then come back overland at Nong Khai, do they get a 30 day visa?
  4. DIY shop, 69baht for a computer mouse, works well.
  5. WOW! thank you that is very detailed info. Yes land is a good investment, have been looking at the stock market but am not an expert, will need to study it more. I assume you bought land on Samui which if so you would have done very well. I will have to digest all this infomation for now. Thank you for the input, greatly appreciated.
  6. Wow! you woke up in a grumpy mood today. lol
  7. Hi, interested in what you did for the child savings, can you explain a bit more please? I have a 3 year old and she has a normal savings account, but I would like to change.
  8. As you said family and friends will be around very fast with their hands out, maybe better to have money sent over monthly from the USA and not worry to much about the tax, better to have some income instead of it all going to the family and left with nothing. Find out what percentage the tax would be. Also maybe downsize the house as the out goings are high and while you are alive all is good, but once gone, what is her income and how long will her inheritance last paying the house bills. Do not worry to much, do not want stress at our age. Wish you all the best
  9. WTF are you on about? Please add only meaningful comments to the conversation.
  10. Land with palm on it, 20rai will give around 50,000 baht a month, there are costs like fertiliser and wages for Burmese workers to look after the land but can be a good income for a Thai. Or buy land and build rooms and rent them out, 2,000 to 3,000 each a month, depending on what part of Thailand you live in. But need a strong person to deal with tenants.
  11. A very good article "Thailand must adapt to meet its unique demographic challenge", well worth the read, heres the link. https://www.thaienquirer.com/50974/thailand-must-adapt-to-meet-its-unique-demographic-challenge/
  12. "Give a person a fish and they'll eat for one day; teach them how to catch their own and they'll be fed forever"
  13. and the occupants?
  14. what will be interesting is once free, which hospatil he will be moved to
  15. It is amazing with expats reporting every 90 days and the ton of paper work they do, yet am not sure if they check their records to see who has not reported, you would think in this modern day of IT software their system would ping a flag to say xyz has not reported and they would go check on them. There was a report in the news about three months ago about a man they caught who had over stayed by 15 years!!
  16. September 11th 2001, surprised you missed it there were four planes hijacked all at the same time, plus there is a theroy there was a 5th plane to be hijacked, there is a documentry out now about it. I do agree with you people hate US foreign policy and along with that their are many who hate americans as a whole. Not saying it is right to do so, but there are so many knowen cases in history of US foreign policy backed up with feet on the ground, Take a look at South America as one example of feet on the ground.
  17. When your flight gets hijacked, maybe not the best passport LOL. Also when so many people in the world hate america, is it really a great passport, what would your goverment do to save your a**e in most situations? I think like most goverments they do f*** all to help their nationals
  18. 100 people? Is this classed as a true reflection/survey of Thai peoples opinion? Only asking in one place is not an accurate sample of Thai people and yet ASEAN thinks it is worth publishing..
  19. Ahh my mistake, was thinking of Benicio Del Toro
