  1. I used to get them from Villa but apparently they don't carry them anymore.

I live in Prachuap and would prefer not to make the trip on spec.

Would appreciate your help in locating some as I am a sucker for pea soup.

    TIA

  2. Hello

    Thank you for your consideration!

I'll try and go to the Immigration Office in Hua Hin, NOT in Prachuap Khiri Khan, the capital of the province, for the extension.

They're supposed to do it for me because there're loads of Farang living there, who must have been to the office to get things

    done.

The people at Prachuap are very helpful. Go there in the afternoon about 3pm when they are not busy.

Had a friend extend the other day but cost him 1900 baht. Took all of 15 mins.

  3. Good

Immigration is only a 15 km drive to the Burmese border and instant service.

    Bars are illegal.

    Mai pairng.

Steak house with edible steak 120baht.

    Italian and an Aussie restaurant.

    No traffic.

    Very Buddhist.

    Golf course.

    Clean air.

    Nice breezes.

I could go on and on but my brain is tired.

    Bad

    Can't think of one.

I lived in Chiang Mai for 12 years and have been in Prachuap for 3 months.

My only regret is that I didn't move here sooner.

  4. I have posted this on another thread but it might be better here.

It has not been mentioned that if you are refused entry into a country then you will not be admitted to any other country until you have returned to the country of your passport.

This could have huge implications for a visa runner because once you try to enter Thailand and are refused admittance you are in no man's land having signed out of the previous country- they will not readmit you; rather they will put you in detention until you can return to your home country.

So beware. If you are in danger of being refused entry then make sure you have the funds to return home other wise you might spend the rest of your life in detention.

  5. I have posted this on another thread. Every one should be made aware that if you are refused entry to Thailand then the rest of ASEAN will refuse you entry as well. You have to return to the country of your passport. A lot of people will no doubt have found this out already.

As you have signed out of say, Malaysia and refused entry to Thailand then you are in no mans land.If you try to go back to Malaysia They will refuse entry and put you in detention until you can fly out to the country that issued your passport.

By refusing you entry the Thai's are also ensuring that you will spend some time in detention.

    So beware.
