    These crappy speed boats that usually carry around 1000hp in outboards, are just not suited for any kind of rough weather...I doubt there's even a regulation covering these junk heaps...and if so, then I doubt the authorities could care less!

    In most societies, the 2 system parliament works....in varying degrees of course. In Thailand, the Senate is made mostly of "appointed" members....the senate elections are usually farcical..the elite always overseeing. Given all that, IMO, the system here being flawed...disband the Senate!

    "had momentarily left the engine running."....Keeping the van cool is a prerequisite in Thailand:)) It's illegal to leave keys in vehicles and usually voids and insurance claims if the vehicle gets stolen. Tiwa Santhichatsak may cop a big bill....suing the expat that stole the van would be a time waster!

    The way roads are built here, usually with a road base, compacted and the asphalt places and rolled.....all nice and smooth..for a while. Along comes the rain and overloaded trucks and the dips start to appear...then the surface starts to break up. They do not build the sub grade well enough to take heavy trucks....concrete last longer that 12 months

    I never buy anything from airport "duty free".....many products and costlier than outside. However, KingPower will be really pissed and will no doubt cause a stir. Anyway....this is a completely inane idea...totally stupid!

    And this coming from Plodrasop! Surprising as he was probably the most useless politician known. Anyone remember the 2011 floods? His suggestion was putting dozens of boats pushing the mighty Chao Phryah so the water would flow faster and reduce the BKK water:)
