If you had any common sense, you would know the answer to your question and wouldn't need to post it here.
So you are saying it is common sense to understand if common sense exists as a concept in a foreign culture?
and by asking it shows I have none. I would say that you appear to have common contempt. Which in my opinion is a fairly useless asset.

The notion that climate change qualifies as one of the "many great theories" of science is absurd.
The great theories had no need of manipulation like this:
That is "Mike's Nature trick" aka "hide the decline", a deliberate deception designed to save the theory from some very inconvenient facts, thus:
The data from the reconstruction (tree growth used to estimate temperature) extends all the way to 1995 (red curve). But the red part of the curve (1961-1994) gets deleted because it does not show any real warming and gets replaced by instrumental data from weather stations (green, 1871-1997) . This trick was used to conceal the drop in temperature at the end of the reconstruction and to cover up the considerable discrepancy between the theory and the reality.
With shoddy hucksterism like this rampant throughout climate science, it dishonours the names of some of the great scientists of the past to mention climate change in the same sentence.
I'd say the only person hoodwinked here is Mr RB - and I think he's doing it to himself.....he repeatedly cherry picks, overlooks the big picture and dismisses sound science as hucksterism.
I'd like to say I admire his persistence, but it saddens me to see someone flogging a dead horse.
I disagree. I would say that RB's arguments have been clear well thought out and consistently backed with sources.
Can you show me where he has dismissed sound science. I would say that he is passionately defending science.

What one person or race perceives as common sense is not neccessarily the same as anothers.
Yes I agree with you. What i was searching for was; is the concept here, and what would be included under the heading of Thai common sense?
-
I was trying do discuss common sense the other day because I wanted to know if it is a western concept or do other cultures also have a term for this. However I couldn't figure out even how to say it in Thai.
Does Thailand have a special term for common sense?
Here is the dictionary.com entry for it:
common sensenounsound practical judgment that is independent of specialized knowledge, training, or the like; normal native intelligence.- 1

Ok I need a new printer too.
I have noticed now that there are Epson printers available with Epson tanks already fitted from the factory. Does this mean that for refills all I would have to do is buy bottled ink? Or is there a catch?
I thought the printer industry revolved around selling the little cartridges at obscene markups.

Yes I have decided to go with the SSD now. I am also thinking to go without the video card for a little while to see the capabilities of the Intel 4600 graphics. Easy enough to drop in a card later if underwhelmed (likely).

It is tedious how the MMCC side must always call the other side climate change deniers. I may deny the level of concern, but never climate change itself. There has never been a period of time where the climate was in stasis. No thinking person would ever claim there is no change.
I would like someone to tell me what the average global temperature is supposed to be today if man hadn't invented fire.
And if you do come up with the figure, Please tell me the percentage of accuracy for the figure.
I would also like to know when the planet, if man hadn't intervened, should have been expected to start cooling again. Because in all seriousness, if we are on the verge of a cooling, wouldn't our efforts be better spent preparing for that?
Imagine 200 years from now, where global governments are giving out grants to return to fossil burning as a means to negate an impending Ice age.

Not everyone knows this, but the second hand condom shop (Love You 2 Times) by Thapae Gate has an excellent toiletries section. I am certain you could find many varieties of experienced dental health items. Just look to the left of the feminine hygiene display.

Apparently the highest price paid for a koi is in the neighborhood of 250,000 euro. But it wasn't from Buriram.

The koi's u see for alot of money dont come from thailand, here in buriram u can buy a 2 kg koi for 30 bath, so i dont think its a good way of making money, there are better aquarium / ornamental fish to be bred, giant siam carp, julien golden carp, red tail catfish, alligator gars, arapaima etc..
Well none of the Koi come from Thailand originally, but they do well here and people do breed them here. In fact last time I asked about koi in a shop the lady had expensive ones from Thailand and really expensive ones from Japan. Never seen a koi go for less than 100 baht a fish though, your Buriram fish must be goldfish.
You are right, that there are a lot of ornamentals that can be raised here. What i need is some inside info. Thailand is one of world leaders in providing fish for the aquarium industry. What I would love would be an opportunity to talk to a wholesaler and find out some facts.

Built this a month ago for 24, 000 from j.i.b
Asrock z87 extreme 4
Intel i5 4570
128gb oc vector ssd
2tb wd green hd
Intel graphics 4600 brilliant don't use a graphics card
Case, power supply, case fan,
Sent from my GT-N8000 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
I would like to know more about the onboard video capabilities of that i5 CPU.
Can you run current games with it? or haven't you tried.
-
Thanks for the suggestions, I do think I will choose a case carefully. My office is often hot so cooling is a priority. This is also why I am going to use an Intel chip. I think now the i5 4570 is the way to go. just a few baht more for 13% better performance.

So this week I am reassessing my fish farm strategy. I have tried a lot of things this year and learned a lot, but clearly I didn’t break even. At this point my plan was to make a much larger investment. I know could start a new season and apply everything I learned, and more than likely, I will do much better. But perhaps I should think about something other than Tab Tim.
I noticed the Pla nin I raised this year grew better than the Tab Tim. And I know I can turn over Pla Suwai faster and with less concern over water quality. But I like Tab Tim because they all have unique patterns, they are colorful, and people seem to think they taste better. Other fish are kinda boring and hard to see. I mean how is it possible to enjoy watching a pond of catfish, no offense RBH. So now I am thinking why not go all the way over to the fussy end of fish farming, and have a try with Koi.
I know they are not an eating fish, but I also know that some of the prices these things go for are insane. It is not unusual to see 6 inchers going for 2000 baht a pop, and at the higher end of the biz you can change that number from baht to dollars. There has got to be some profit potential there, as well as having some beautiful fish to pamper.
So I am wondering if there are any of you out there who have some experience with breeding and rearing koi.

ThaiLife that price is in my range, but the processor is oldish, and the video card is basic.
Thanks for showing me that though, i learned a bit more from looking in to it.
I was bored this morning and know SFA about these things but found this on google http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/430/Intel_Core_i5_i5-4440_vs_Intel_Core_i7_i7-3770.html
thank you for that, obviously I have more to learn.
But if I go with the older i7 chip will I also have to go with an older main board?
-
Well at least your on the top floor so the rest of the floors won't be falling on you.
Time to get an expert to make an assessment.
Do you own or rent?

So I am going to pick up a new desktop this week. My last system is running fine but the last couple of years it showed some limitations and it is incompatible now with some games/software.
But because this system lasted me 5 years, I have really fallen out of the loop as to current hardware.
I don't usually need a fast system, but I do occasionally edit some video, and I occasionally find time for a new game (Need for speed, Medal of honor and so on).
So I had a clerk write me up their version of what I need.
CPU Intel i5 4440MB Asus H87 me (don't know what the "me" is, hopefully it is an H87pro)Ram DDR3 1600 8GBHD 1 TBVideo GTX 650 I think this is a Gigabyte card500 watt supplyObviously a case and a burner to go with it tooSo is this a good set, or are their some substitutions I should consider. Keep in mind, I like the price and don't want to go up from here. -
Thanks for the article jingthing. There was a lot of useful and thought provoking info in there for me.

@F430. Pollution is absolutely the critical environmental problem mankind needs to solve. And as soon as people can get their focus off of benign C02 and start making progress to eliminate actual pollutants. Then you will see a lot more cooperation from the general population. The problem though is because C02 results from every human activity, the tax potential is far too tantalizing for governments to ignore. Making C02 a taxable item creates the scenario where even breathing can carry a cost. The financial potential of carbon tax and the gravy train of rewards to the useful idiots beating the man made climate change drum is the gold rush of the new millennium.
