  2. We are at the Airport Novotel now, arrived last night at midnight, 1 person in line in front of us at check in, PCR test took a few minutes, no line.  Arrival about an hour earlier with paper work (QR code, PCR test results) was very smooth, lots of staff to process us.   They ask for boarding pass, QR code, and test results.  Do not fold your QR code, they cannot scan it… you can also show them a copy of your code on a phone.

They would need to scale once numbers of travelers increase.. but for now, I would say come… waiting for our results now, was told 6 to 10 hours, we are at 9 hours now and no results yet… they said as soon as results come, we can go if negative.  Its basically test and go… just waiting in a hotel room.  I would not want to be waiting at the airport with the kids, etc.

    China!

Or maybe not China. They initially and brutally stamped on most of those infected and sending the remainder out of the country to infect everyone worldwide.  Thailand got a few million, didn't they? That was 18 months ago.

How many Chinese nationals received Sinovac or the other lesser known fluid .... whatsitsname ....?

It is also possible that all those others in the peearecee found infected, were disposed of.

Meanwhile, China continues to expand at an alarming pace. India, Phillipines, poor European northern nations, confrontations with Indonesia, Japan and Taiwan, threats to Australia, UK and probably countless other countries.

Sinovac sells well to most of them. China does not care. The revenue for them is astronomical.

So, at least, in that respect, China is a global success.

    Right?

    Good for profit lol

Meanwhile the USA donates millions of Pfizer and Moderna

Depends what you're looking for I think. Less effective but still providing protection against severe disease and death.

"...spikes in Covid cases among some countries that use Chinese vaccines “tend to be surges in mild infections with very few severe cases in fully vaccinated individuals.”  https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/08/five-vaccinated-countries-with-high-covid-rates-rely-on-china-vaccines.html

If your a poor country and cannot do any better, i guess thats your choice - Thailand is not poor and could have done better

Why is this so surprising & automatically attributed to Sinovac?  Has it not always been known that the vaccine...any vaccine...is not a bullet proof vest?  That you may still contract Covid but "hopefully symptoms will be lessened?

Truth is most if not all "regular" folks meaning non Medical workers

probably never get retested for Covid once vaccinated & assume all is well.

Even though they could have since caught Covid & were asymptomatic or have lessened symptoms to the point of going unnoticed.  Which in truth makes them Super Spreaders

Medical workers on the other hand are probably tested weekly at least so of course so this already known chink in the Armour of ANY vaccine against a constantly changing Covid Virus will be more often shown

Sinovac is not strong enough to create heard immunity.  Take a look at the stats of countries that used it… vs countries that used effective American vaccines.  Not a single Sinovac success case out there… every country that used it eventually turned to Pfizer and Moderna

  6. There are rules in each US state, city, you have to be a resident in most cases.  You can't just show up.  I think the Alaska deal is fantastic...great idea and if you look really hard, you can see Russia.

I really wish Thailand had been a regional leader, partnering with Pfizer like Israel did.  Hopefully the serious vaccination process starts soon, so Thailand can open up and get back to business and the people who's livelihoods have been destroyed can start to rebuild.

If anything is worth waiting for, it's the Pfizer Covid vaccine in tablet form:

this is not news about a vaccine, its about a treatment for COVID-19 ???? but nonetheless its awesome news, thank you for sharing
